Cordula Sumalvico is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been widley exhibited natioanlly. In addition, her art is featued in the permanent collection of the Saarländisches Kultusministerium (the Ministry of Education and Culture) in Germany. Sumalvico cites her studies in sociology and psychology, as well as many years of experience working in the social field, as having shaped her artistic practice. Her striking and emotionally evocative figurative pieces are created with oils on canvas.
