Corrado Avolese, aka CORRAVALE, is a self-taught painter who began his career in the vibrant art scene of Scicli, Sicily. His career has been enriched by over twenty years of collaboration with the L'Androne gallery, a historic institution registered in the official register of Italian galleries and active for over 45 years.
CORRAVALE works with traditional painting techniques, such as oil and acrylic, to create original compositions intertwining female figures and taking-off airplanes. Her visual language conveys a strong sense of freedom, independence, and a poetic vision of beauty. Her works evoke profound and unexpected emotions, leaving ample room for the viewer's imagination.
Throughout his career, he has exhibited in several shows, including the first Malta Biennale in 1995 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, and has held solo exhibitions at the Meno Assenza Cultural Centre in Pozzallo. Among his most recent participations:
– Art Collection, Palazzo Pisani Revedin, Venice (December 2021)
– Like the Clouds, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa (November 2021)
Since 2023, his works have been successfully offered at four public auctions, all of which sold. One of the lots was part of the private collection of the home-studio of Piero Guccione, an internationally renowned master with whom CORRAVALE has shared several group exhibitions at the L'Androne gallery.
Thanks to these auctions, CORRAVALE is listed on Artprice.com, one of the leading international sources for art valuations. His most recent auction results date back to May 2025. This consolidated presence confirms the market's interest in his work and represents a solid reference for those wishing to know the current value of his works.
