Cynthia Back is a printmaker based in Portugal whose works have been exhibited in Taiwan, the United States, Norway, Denmark, and El Salvador. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as The Washington Post, the Philadelphia Inquirer, American Artist, etc. Through her compositions, Black translates her fascination with healing powers, beauty, patterns, and colors. She is also very concerned about climate change and much of her pieces reflect our changing world.
