« My goal is to convey a mood and state of mind, related to a particular place or event in my life and with music as a great source of inspiration. »
Daan de Jong is an experienced artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Describing himself as a 21st-century romantic, art is a means through which he deals with the concept of impermanence. Through his works, De Jong explores themes relating to mood, atmosphere, time, and experience. He primarily creates with oils on canvas or watercolors on paper.
