Dario Cardoni was born in Rome on September 16, 1988, the city where he still lives and works.
Attracted to art since he was a child, and encouraged by his paternal grandparents, it was only in mid-2024, after almost twenty years away from brushes and palettes, that he once again felt the irresistible urge to recover that artistic world that he had left hanging.
Self-taught by choice and vocation, today he defines himself as an artist who ideally places himself between Post-Impressionism and Surrealism. He mainly uses the acrylic technique, giving life to dreamlike and surreal compositions: unusual settings, unexpected glimpses and unlikely scenes in which human figures and animals interact, challenging the observer to reflect beyond appearances
Colour represents his main means of expression, an instrument of seduction through which he invites the observer to lose himself, to find himself and to explore together with his own soul, emotions, dreams and intimate reflections.
