Dasha Pogodina is an experienced Ukrainian artist based in Switzerland whose paintings have been exhibited in Ukraine. She describes her distinctive figurative works as being about the "here and now" and celebrating the moving moment. Having been forced to flee her country twice due to war, she finds solace and strength in the works of renowned impressionist, Claude Monet. Pogodina most often creates with oils on canvas.
