Dean Spinks
Australia
« There is no greater compliment than when someone says, "Is that a drawing? I thought it was a photo!". »
Dean Spinks is a draftsman based in Australia whose works have been exhibited nationally. Fascinated by the human face, his portraiture explores the symmetry and expressions of the face while also conveying the story of his subject. As a photorealist artist, Spinks delights in the challenge of making each piece as realistic and detailed as possible. His distinctive compositions are primarily created with pens on synthetic board.
