Panchakosh (A Dialogue of endurance with one's inner fragile self)

Dipayan Ghosh is a Mumbai-based Indian artist whose work fuses Cubism and Expressionism into textured narratives of resilience. His practice layers cement, resin, ash, thread, and pigment into raw, emotionally charged terrains—drawing from the materiality of Kiefer, the emotion of Rothko, and the colour urgency of Van Gogh. Influenced by themes of endurance—mental, environmental, spiritual—Ghosh transforms scarred surfaces into symbols of survival. Exhibited across New York, Paris, London, Amsterdam, and Kolkata, his work has earned international awards and acclaim. Each piece is a vessel for empathy, a provocation for reflection. In fractured forms and fiery hues, he crafts a space where silence speaks, wounds are seen, and resilience breathes. “My finished works,” he says, “carry boldness—to light up a positive impact on the soul.” His art does not match the room—it moves it.
