Doreen Kochen is a profoundly influenced artist. Initially influenced by traditional porcelain painting, she later moved on to mural and illustration projects. She also has decades of experience in commissioned painting, working in a variety of techniques and formats. Her repertoire is diverse, but classical painting remains her great passion. Using fine to coarse brushstrokes and finger painting, she creates realistic images that challenge and fascinate the viewer's eye, whether from close-up or far-reaching. Her vibrant paintings capture profound emotions and expressive scenes to move viewers.
