Dorette Pollard, originally from Nevis and now Canadian-based, started her artistic journey with black and white oils while studying in Paris. Known for her transition to water soluble oils after a health scare, her style incorporates narratives around colour blindness, populated by abstract landscapes and poignant portraits. Pollard’s work, captivating in every stroke, fosters a profound emotional exploration and invites the viewer to embrace their inner voice.
