Dorisa Camps is a citizen of the world, born in Santa Clara, Cuba. By early age a self-taught creator, she went on to develop her skills as a textile designer.
Visual and plastic artist Dorisa was determined to follow her passion for the arts. Despite challenges, she returned to the world of creation with a vibrant universe of colors, gestural brushstrokes, and bold palette-knife work. Her approach as multidisciplinary artist seeks a symbiosis between emotion and reality. Through mixed media-including acrylic and oil on canvas, lithography, ink, airbrushing, gouache, and textured techniques-she captures the profound connection between humanity and nature.
Inspired by landscapes and sunrises, she often incorporates reliefs and hydrographic elements into her art. Her pictorial language is imbued with a sense of healing-inviting meditation, peace, and spiritual harmony while serving as a therapeutic journey of deep emotional expression. www.dorisacamps.com
