Edward Willis Redfield

Edward Willis Redfield, an American Impressionist landscapist, thrived in oil mediums reflective of his New Hope colony roots. His vigorous brushwork and plein-air techniques capture bucolic and coastal scenes with a luminous palette, often embracing winter's chill or summer's warmth. The emotions in Redfield's paintings evoke a profound sense of peace, harmonizing man with the vibrant yet serene American landscape.
