« While painting, I attempt to find silence and freedom. »
Edyta Dudus is an established Polish artist with international exposure. Her paintings employs the recurring motif of a dissected or partially visible female figure that strives toward wholeness. She favors a narrow color scale, often black and white, or cold shades, which correspond to the poetics of her work. Dudus' paintings are rich in emotion and contrast.
