Because of my deafness, colors and their effects have become central cornerstones in my life. Due to my fate over the decades, I had to rely completely on my eyes - they were my anchor.
My works are inspired by the fascinating corrosion processes on metal, and I tried to capture the beauty and uniqueness of these natural phenomena in my work. The resulting colors vary depending on the type of metal used and the specific oxidation solution. Acrylic and oil paints give the paintings additional depth and nuances. This diverse palette creates a lively and dynamic play of colors that comes to the fore in the paintings. The combination of metal, rust, oxidation and noble materials gives the works a special energy and depth.
