Based in the Grenoble Alps, Emma Heffe is a self-taught artist who has mastered oil painting with a knife.
Representing a strangely familiar world, both sensitive and offbeat, she revisits commonplaces in a style blending Impressionism and Expressionism, and vibrating to the rhythm of lyrical abstraction and surrealism. Astonishing anthropomorphic forms intrude into the space, restoring all its magic.
His spontaneous and authentic gestures invite the pictorial material to express itself freely in the superposition of thicknesses, where the background resurfaces.
Her paintings invite the viewer to immerse themselves and lose themselves in the depths of the image, to let themselves be guided by strength and calm, to be drawn into the intense serenity of each vibration. She offers an emotional journey, offering a new experience every day, a possible mirror of the soul.
