Based in the Grenoble Alps, Emma Heffe is a self-taught artist who has mastered oil painting with a knife.
Representing a strangely familiar world, both sensitive and offbeat, she revisits commonplaces in a style blending Impressionism and Expressionism, and vibrating to the rhythm of lyrical abstraction and surrealism. Astonishing anthropomorphic forms intrude into the space, restoring all its magic.
