Eugenio Tocchet is a contemporary Italian visual artist who approaches artistic research after over 45 years of experience in marketing, communications, and image culture. His visual training stems from a long professional career, enriched by photography, creativity, writing, travel, and encounters with diverse realities and cultures. Today, he dedicates his time fully to artistic research through digital art and fine art photography. Perception is at the heart of his work: what we see does not necessarily coincide with what is. Tocchet observes reality with different eyes, exploring the relationship between humans, nature, matter, and the universe, between the visible and the invisible, the recognizable and the unexpected. His works do not simply seek to represent, but to generate a different experience of the gaze and leave room for reflection. Writing is also part of his research: writing and creating images are two different ways of observing.
