« My aim is to sensitively and creatively respond to my environment. I totally immerse myself in the natural world, seeking to distill the essence of what I have experienced. »
Faisal Khouja is a painter and printmaker based in the United Kingdom whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in England. He cites the "majesty of nature" as being the driving force behind his artistic practice. Khouja's expressive painterly compositions are most often created with oils on canvas. Whereas, his linocuts are formed by carving multiple plates and are characterized by his use of bold colors.
