Federica Valabrega was born in 1983 in Rome, Italy. Having spent most of her life in the USA, where she completed two degrees in physiology in Boulder, Colorado and journalism in Washington, D.C., Valabrega then went on to pursue a career as a photographer in New York City in 2010 where she currently resides half of the year (for the other half she is living in Mumbai, India pursuing a project on holy waters).
