François Brillat

François Brillat, a painter trained at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, explores acrylic on linen canvas and adds a rich multimedia experience to his career.
He creates an alphabet of abstract, improvised and essential signs, inspired by an era when painting and writing merged.
Her non-figurative technique creates visual poems, inviting each viewer to interpret lines that oscillate between vital fluids and reveries. Her works vibrate with a profound quest for introspection and generate a sense of ambiguity conducive to reflection on the essence of existence.

François Brillat self-published a catalogue raisonné of his work in September 2025. In addition to numerous color reproductions, it includes working notes and reading notes. It is available for purchase by contacting the author directly, at the bookstore of the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, at the Artcurial art bookstore in Paris, and online.
