Fran Kiernan, an Irish sculptor, works with sustainable wood, skillfully honing his woodturning craft. His approach encapsulates the tree's raw essence, admiring its life cycle and magnifying its natural quirks through his hands. His technique harmonizes with the hidden lines, contours, and the transformative process of spalting, turning the wood into unique masterpieces. His art, imbued with the sublime spirit of nature, radiates tranquillity and ignites a new appreciation for the undervalued beauty of deformities.
