Frank Glanz

Frank Glanz primarily paints with oil on wood and comes from Salzburg, where he has been developing his artistic practice independently for over fifty years. His works are characterized by traditional glazing techniques of the old Flemish masters, combined with a symbolic view of the world and multi-layered, transparent layers of color. Using natural motifs such as plants and flowers, he explores themes like transience, transformation, and the deeper connection between humanity and nature. His paintings radiate a quiet poetry and invite the viewer to quietly discover their own meanings and emotions.
