Franz Alias is an award-winning photographer based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally. Through his art, he speaks of timelessness as well as the passage of time. Alias explores the places that we pass through on a regular basis, frequented by many other generations, and also will be by generations after us. He employs cameras from the 1950s and 1960s. In addition, using outdated films allows him to seek imperfections that the photographic emulsion undergoes during development.
