Gabriel Pionkowski is a painter with a rich background shaped by studying painting in Florence, Italy. He employs a meticulous process of deconstructing, hand-painting, and re-weaving canvas threads, embracing dualities and redefining the traditional painting surface. His work, suspended between presence and absence, evokes a meditative sense of discovery, contrast, and quiet introspection.
