« To me, painting is a heartbeat, love, perception, impetus, state, mood, and experience. At times spontaneous, but always created with an open soul. That's why I call my artworks, 'inner landscapes'. »
Georgi Petrov is a Bulgarian artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in Poland, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, France, and the United States. The central themes portrayed in his art as also his biggest inspirations, nature and music. Horizons are a repeated subject in Petrov's compositions, which he describes as "deep and emotional", born of the planes of Dobrudzha, his birthplace. His works invite viewers to "look from within".
