Gerrit Hodemacher is a painter and textile artist based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally in Cologne, Munich, Hamburg as well as in China, Monaco, Italy, the USA and France. He describes each of his pieces, designs and concepts as the result of snapshots of his inner attitude, longings and interpretations of current events. In particular, the themes of farewell and the positive view of the future come together in his art project "Honour the Sunset". Through his art, Hodemacher strives to reinvent and set new boundaries in each work in order to playfully test the possibilities. For him, art is a special form of freedom - only the end of the canvas sets the limit.
