Gina Pane

Gina Pane, a French artist of Italian lineage, delved into performance and body art after her formal training at École des Beaux-Arts. Her performances, poignant and visceral, utilized her own body as a canvas for expression, often confronting pain and transcending physical limits. Her art evokes a raw intensity, challenging viewers to confront the fragility and resilience of the human condition.
