« Painting is the mirror of the human soul. Painting does not invent anything, it shows through strokes of sensations who we really are, for better or worse. »
Giotto Riva is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally and in Spain. Through his art, he endeavors to represent the people, places, and themes of our time in a classic and traditional setting, translating a strong visual impact. In Riva's distinctive compositions, loneliness and melancholy are the protagonists, wherein the subjects dance on the thin line that separates good from evil and right from wrong.
