« I have always felt the need to leave a trace of my thoughts as if this could free me from the restlessness that both suffocates and fascinates me. »
Giulio Centurelli is an award-winning sculptor based in Italy whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany. The central theme in his art is existence. Centurelli enjoys imagining that his compositions are living creatures, a distinctive form of life. His minimalistic painterly pieces are often created using enamel and rust on synthetic board.
