Guido Lucker (born 1977 in Strausberg) lives and works in Berlin. His contemporary nature macro photography focuses on visual deceleration. He isolates organic structures and textures that are usually overlooked in everyday perception, in order to slow down the fleeting gaze.
Starting with analog black-and-white photography and traditional film development in the darkroom, Lucker now uses high-resolution digital full-frame systems. He consistently relies on the optical authenticity of classic macro lenses. He sees precise digital processing as an integral component, revealing hidden details without compromising the documentary foundation.
In addition to macro studies, his portfolio includes carefully selected maritime and urban motifs. In 2026, Lucker's works will be presented at the SPC Photo Awards Berlin at the feldfuenf gallery and at the Berlin Photo Awards.
