Hanka Brands

Hanka Brands is a painter and sculptor with a hybrid background of formal academy training at Wackers Academie and a lifetime of independent exploration, rooted in a creative family. She masterfully blends classical craftsmanship with modern expression, employing techniques ranging from fine art painting in acrylic, ink, pastel, to mixed media and vibrant, color-driven expressionism and cubism; her sculptures, often in clay or wood, showcase figurative depth. Her works radiate a vibrant emotional charge, conveying the poetic interplay between culture, femininity, biological forms, and a deeply intuitive sense of atmosphere.
