« I believe expressions and emotions hold a lot of power. Art further magnifies these emotions and helps us experience them in many visually appealing ways. »
Harshpreet Kaur is an Indian painter and draftsman whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Canada. Her realistic portraits are heavily inspired by expressionism and reflect people in their natural states. Kaur finds that there is beauty in simplicity, which is unintentionally ignored in our day to day lives. Through seemingly small details, she highlights the unique personalities of her subjects.
