Heike Heininger is a self-taught artist who works primarily with acrylic paints, texture pastes, and a variety of materials. She employs experimental, intuitive techniques and combines colors with organic or found elements to create unique surfaces and textures. Her paintings convey powerful emotions, remind us of the ever-changing nature of the world, and invite a sensitive dialogue with our own perceptions.
