Hien Nguyen is a Vietnamese painter whose works have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions nationally. The characters represented in his abstract works are often imbued with a strong sense of their inner selves. His works also reflect problems, or thoughts that are affected by social contexts. When he paints, Nguyen feels as though he is lead by a supernatural force, interfering with his emotions. He creates using acrylics and oils on cardboard or canvas.
