Hilary McCarthy is an American artist whose paintings have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions in the United States. Her art explores beauty, the importance of nature in our lives, as well as the metaphoric calm and rockiness of water which is symbolic of life's events. McCarthy endeavors to create timeless compositions with the same quality as the old masters. Her realistic and emotionally evocative pieces are created using oils on canvas.
