Hunter Jay is an award-winning American painter who has exhibited nationally. One of the recurring themes in his works is the simplicity of composition. Pared down to very few elements, the pieces invite the viewer to discover what might normally be overlooked. Through ‘stylized realism’, Jay conveys the sensuality of organic shapes found in nature. He paints in acrylic and uses a variety of glazing mediums to achieve the desired depth of field.
