« Art is a testimony of time, a bridge between generations, cultures and individuals. »
Ibrahima Soumare is a distinguished French painter and draftsman whose work has featured in prestigious prizes and exhibitions throughout Paris. Harnessing inspiration from the work of legendary painters such as Degas, Vermeer, and Edgar Hopper, he predominately composes hyper realist portraits, urban scenes and detailed visual studies of objects or moments. Soumare views art as the deepest and most touching expression of the shared adventure of humanity, and seeks ultimately to transmit this power to those who view his work.
