Igor Smirnov is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited both nationally and in Russia. His art explores varying themes which include the border of the observation of darkness and light, walking in the abyss, the triumph of life over death and love over fear, as well as the hunt for time. In addition, Smirnov describes each of his periods as having its own stages of inspiration. He creates using oils on canvas.
