Ina Kohlschovsky

Ina Kohlschovsky works primarily in oil on cotton and canvas and looks back on an eventful career, from two vocational training courses to studying painting and graphic design to becoming an award-winning painter. Her realistic and figurative paintings explore the boundaries between conscious and subconscious, dream and reality. Her works usually tell intense, narrative stories full of longings and abysses. Sometimes critical, but often also deeply personal, her paintings transport the viewer into touching, yet occasionally disturbing, emotional liminal realms.
