« Painting should amaze, seduce, convince, and sometimes confuse. For me, it is a dialogue between the inner and outer world. »
Ingeborg Matula is an award-winning painter, photographer, and draftsman based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally. Along with nudes, nature and still life, her fascination with portraits is a focal point that continues to attract and influence her artistic practice. In addition, Matula's distinctive florals endeavor to capture them, keeing the flowers that she loves alive forever.
