Ioannis Kaiserlis

Ioannis Kaiserlis is a painter with a background in interior and industrial architecture, channeling his experience into acrylics, oils, spatulas, and experimental materials. His style fuses Abstract Expressionism, action painting, and material informalisme, building and deconstructing surfaces with ritualistic grattage, layering, and scraping. His techniques evoke both violence and harmony, creating canvases that function as battlefields and sanctuaries. Kaiserlis seeks to awaken viewers, stirring profound spiritual tension and vulnerability—a powerful confrontation with the sublime chaos within ourselves.
