Iris Weissschuh is a German painter and sculptor whose works have been exhibited both nationally and in Switzerland. Her expressive abstractions result from the interplay of intuitive action and continuous reflection. Weissschuh describes her artistic process as the experimental examination of the material combined with the process of elaboration, through which, a dialogue opens. Her painterly compositions are created using acrylics, pigments, lacquer, and resin on canvas or metal.
