Isla Mackenzie-Doyle is a Scottish sculptor who was trained in the traditional methods of lost-wax casting in bronze. From her studio in rural Hampshire, she uses these techniques as well as bronze rod and metal sheet materials to create fabricated metal structures. Inspired by her pastoral surroundings, Mackenzie-Doyle’s compositions explore both the beauty and brutality of that world.
