Istvan Demeter is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Fascinated by the archetypal, the mythical, the collective unconscious, as well as universal human dramas, he describes his creative process as being intuitive and irrational. Demeter feels that he must be able to visually define everything he endeavors to portray, yet abstraction is also an integral part of his compositions.
