« I see myself as the new face of dream painting, an artist inspired by reality but loving to transpose it into my imaginary world. »
IXIA is an award-winning French artist whose work has been regularly exhibited and sold in France and internationally since 2006. Trained in the studio of a pupil of MAC'AVOY (disciple of BONNARD and VUILLARD, who worked with BRAQUE), she likes to tell stories through her art, at the crossroads of cubism, impressionism, and she likes to tell stories through her art, at the crossroads of cubism, impressionism and symbolism. IXIA works with oil paint in a light, patiently brushed manner, for a personal rendering close to pastel. Her paintings depict beautiful and mysterious women, inviting the viewer to dream and to feel.
