« Stay open. Stay curious. Work hard and then magic will begin to happen. »
Jackie Leishman is an artist based in the United States whose have been featured in solo and group events nationally. For her, "the world is a collage" and what occurs at the edges and among the layers, where different materials or ideas meet, is where is drawn to. Leishman employs fragments of older work and found materials in her artistic process, which she sees as "beauty from ashes".
