Jakob de Jonge is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, England, and France. His artistic practice is marked by contrasts. Through his works, De Jonge explores concepts relating to light and darkness, humanity and nature, construction and destruction, hope and fear, ideal and reality, belief and cynicism, honesty and hypocrisy, etc. He most often creates using acrylics and oils on canvas.
