« In my opinion abstraction was always the ultimate f*&k you to the system. In studying realism and pursuing it, abstraction always felt more 'real' to me somehow. »
James Cooper is a nationally distinguished artist from Australia whose artwork has received considerable traction online. Cooper describes his work as abstract landscapes which he creates over a period of several months adding layer upon successive layer of paint to his canvas. His colorful pieces are the stunning end result of the artist’s dedicated process.
