Jan Bollaert is a Belgian painter whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and the Netherlands. An experimented artist, he describes the change to painting with oils in 2000 as "opening a new universe" for him. The figurative is always the central focus of Bollaert's pop-art influenced compositions, which often depict iconic personages.
