Jan Tervoort

Jan Tervoort’s work is a journey in the search for who he is as a human being. The artist, who hails from the Netherlands, believes that mistakes leave room for beauty and are simply happenings without experience. Tervoot’s abstract compositions are a culmination of decades of artistic experimentation. He developed a technique which he calls ‘Floatism’, which is the assembly of layered transparents created in a flowing manner, which he likens to human skin.
