Jean Aouké is an artist based on the Ivory Coast whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in France and Senegal. Born into a family of twelve children, his twin brother and himself explore the joy of children and the beauty of women through their works. Aouké often fuses the figurative with the abstract in his distinctive compositions.
